CLT 115 - Phlebotomy Practicum

1 Credit

In this clinical based course, students will be assigned to a local affiliate's patient service center for 40 hours. This course allows the students to apply and practice the venipuncture skills learned in CLT 110.

Prerequisite(s): Permission of Instructor. Co-requisite(s): CLT 110 or previously completed

1. Demonstrate proper phlebotomy procedures.
2. Correctly handle patient specimens.
3. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
